Milwaukee Intermodal Station
Milwaukee, Wisconsin
The $15.8 million redevelopment of the Milwaukee Intermodal Amtrak station into a multi-modal transit facility involved a total renovation of the existing three-story 60,000 square foot building, removal of the existing facade and the addition of a 7,500 square foot three-story glass atrium. It serves as a traveler-friendly facility, with landscaped grounds, infrastructure improvements and amenities such as retail products and services, interactive ad displays, kiosks and tourist information. The new station serves for all area public transportation needs including rail, inter-city bus, public transit, taxi and shuttle vans.
