Founded in 1971, Youth & Opportunity United, Inc (Y.O.U.) is a nonprofit, youth development agency that provides services and leadership to meet the emerging needs of young people and their families. Originally located at various sites throughout the city of Evanston, Y.O.U’s new, centrally located, headquarters and education center will allow administrative staff, tutors and counselors to all function under one roof. Thanks to fundraising and donations, the building will provide the much needed space to accommodate Y.O.U.’s rapid growth and need for expanded programming and gathering spaces.
