Frank Lloyd Wright’s Unity Temple: Newly-Restored and Reopened
The grand re-opening of Unity Temple took place just days after Frank Lloyd Wright’s 150th birthday. PMA Senior Vice President, Andy Roscoe participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The multi-year restoration and preservation included adding 21st century technology to the space and modern amenities such as air conditioning. The project also focused on the conservation of existing features including the original art glass, skylights, pews, lighting and flooring.
Unity Temple is often regarded as one Frank Lloyd Wright’s most historically significant and notable works of art. "Unity Temple makes an entirely new architecture — and is the first expression of it," said Wright. "That is my contribution to modern architecture."
