Mike’s experience in real estate development spans over 40 years and includes a broad range of complex projects across the US. A talented problem solver, Mike’s capacity for bold thinking and innovation are his hallmarks. He is expert at building consensus among disparate, multi-disciplinary teams to achieve client goals, and forming alliances to grow and expand the firm’s business. Mike applies his experience and knowledge to delivering consulting services to multiple clients and varied project types, and serves as the principal contact and delivery strategist for a large multi-family REIT client with a national portfolio. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts and Economics from Knox College in Illinois.

Roger believes that clients value PMA’s willingness and ability to deliver timely, accurate information and advice, even when it's not the easy road to take.  He is gratified by the personal growth and success of others in the firm, especially those who have developed from entry level team members to become key leaders on large, complicated projects.

Roger is responsible for operations and service delivery across the firm, project planning and staffing, client relations, and business development.  As a key member of the executive team, he works in tandem with other executive members directing firm-wide operations and financial activities, implementing project management systems and procedures, and establishing corporate policies to advance the strategic goals of the firm. Highly regarded for his natural team leadership and consensus-building ability, Roger’s portfolio of experience is diverse, amassed over his 25+ years of experience in project management and owner representation, including projects in higher education, K-12, multi-family residential, corporate office, non-for-profit, retail, and municipal sectors. Roger holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Iowa State University.

Allison believes that clients value PMA’s objectivity above all else.  She prioritizes protecting client interests by challenging all project partners to deliver their best work. 

Allison plays a key role in service delivery and business growth in the Western Region, leading PMA's Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco offices.  Allison has more than a decade of experience in project management, with a portfolio including luxury high-rise apartment and condominium buildings, mixed-use commercial and office properties as well as various educational facilities and campuses strengthens her leadership of people and project teams. Allison holds a Bachelor of Science from Ohio State University and a Master of Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley.

Since joining PMA, Andy has embraced the firm’s core values as the foundation of both effective client communication and service. He believes that PMA’s ability to seamlessly align with a client’s business and project goals provides peace of mind that PMA is their absolute owner advocate.

Andy is a demonstrated leader with experience managing diverse project teams for a wide variety of product types. He currently manages the operations and delivery of services for the firm’s Eastern US locations and plays an integral role in the growth of the firm’s business.  Andy is instrumental in the professional growth and mentoring of project staff, brings a consistent leadership style to both internal and external project teams, and is a leading voice in support of strengthening and enhancing internal operations.  Andy holds a Master of Architecture in Real Estate Finance & Construction Management Concentration and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Bernie believes our clients value PMA’s priority to understand and embrace their unique situations and cultural environments and tailor our services and support accordingly. 
 
Bernie provides program management for a large life sciences and healthcare REIT, focusing on both portfolio administration and project-specific oversight. His experience managing portfolios for various Fortune 500 Companies allows him to strategically plan and execute projects and effectively manage large project teams. Bernie holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University.

Leon has more than 15 years of experience in the development and construction industry with a portfolio that includes a wide variety of projects for hospitality, commercial office, industrial, biomedical research, retail, religious facilities and residential development. Leon manages the operations of the Orlando office, assembles and leads project teams to achieve client goals, and develops relationships to expand the firm’s business throughout the Southeast region. His market knowledge and business development skills have contributed to the growth and diversification of the PMA portfolio in the region. Leon holds a Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the University of Florida.

Ken believes that PMA’s commitment to collaboration is evidenced by the firm’s ability to successfully deliver complex projects coordinated among large multi-disciplined project teams, while keeping an open mind and clear focus on client objectives.
 
Ken's 40+ years of industry experience in project management and owner representation supports his role as National Life Sciences Sector Leader, focused on coordinating professionals across PMA’s seven regional offices to deliver services on existing and new life sciences projects. Ken's specific expertise of the unique facilities requirements of the biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare industry as well as his leadership, supported by a team of multi-disciplined professionals, PMA is recognized throughout the Southern California market as a top-tier provider of project management consulting within Life Sciences.  Ken holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Omar is a senior executive with over 15 years of real estate development experience. As General Manager of the Austin office, he guides project teams through complexities and challenges by building effective teams that skillfully manage risk and navigate uncertainty from start to finish. Ross holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Management from Purdue University.
 

With experience as both an owner and owner’s representative, Andy values the collective, lasting relationships and trust that the firm actively builds with each client. He is focused on delivering successful results by minimizing risks.

Andy has over 25 years of experience in planning, design and delivery of capital projects and improvements for a wide variety of markets and product types. He is a leader with exceptional technical skills and specific expertise in capital improvement planning, project management, agency coordination and alternative project delivery methods.  Andy holds a Master of Architecture and Master of Business Administration, as well as a Bachelor in Science, from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Marina has 15 years of experience with a background in architecture and city planning, specifically housing and urban design. With deep architecture, project management, finance and construction experience, Nick skillfully initiates and manages projects throughout planning, design and construction. As a practiced professional with 25 years of experience as an architect and owner’s representative, Jerry’s portfolio includes complex projects for corporate, commercial, government, higher education and institutional clients. He brings design expertise and collaboration to his role leading large multi-disciplined teams through planning to occupancy for a large life sciences REIT client. Jerry holds a Master of Architecture from Tulane University in Louisiana and a Bachelor of Fine Art from the School of The Art Institute of Chicago in Illinois.  He also is a licensed Architect in Illinois, Colorado, North Carolina, and Massachusetts.

As PMA's VP of Human Resources, Doug leads a comprehensive talent strategy to support the firm’s business imperatives and growth initiatives by ensuring that our people achieve their full potential.  He is focused on engaging great people who deliver exceptional client service to establish PMA as the employer of choice within the real estate consulting industry.  Doug holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University, and is a registered Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois.  He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Human Resource Management Association of Chicago.

Ted’s experience in management, consulting, and engineering encompasses all phases of real estate development and spans more than 20 years. His portfolio includes a broad range of product types that range from hospitality, commercial and education to large-scale infrastructure and complex redevelopment projects for clients in the United States and the United Kingdom. He serves an integral role overseeing the delivery of services and managing relations with several key PMA clients, including a large European entertainment company, a multi-family REIT client with a national portfolio, and a county government client. Ted holds a Master of Science in Construction and Engineering Management from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.  He is also a California registered Professional Civil Engineer.

Danny is a firm believer in the transformative power of technology and appreciates that PMA embraces and fosters the practice of exploring new ideas and challenging conventional boundaries. He enjoys the company’s collaborative work environment, where open and honest communications drive the team's ability to overcome obstacles and implement value-add innovation into project solutions.

Danny has honed his expertise over more than 16 years managing all aspects of project planning and delivery from corporate interiors to commercial master developments. His experience ranges from multiple international assignments for the United States Air Force to founding his own drone surveillance company and running a project management practice for a global real estate firm. His current focus on innovation involves exploring and implementing technological advancements across the business for a meaningful long-term impact on business growth. Danny holds a Master of Business Administration and Management from Webster University in St. Louis, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Northern Arizona University.

With over 20 years of experience in the finance industry, he has successfully transformed finance functions by developing and motivating teams, committing to continuous process improvement, and employing financial systems. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Roosevelt University, a Masters of Business Administration with a focus in Finance from DePaul University, and is a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois.

Eric has over 30 years of experience in construction, project management, design, and facilities operations with a strong focus in the healthcare sector. He leverages his technical experience, critical thinking, and collaborative nature to implement initiatives, programs, and processes to position projects and clients for success. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management for the University of Florida Gainesville.

As the General Manager of the Los Angeles office, Sonnet plays a key role in the tactical growth of the office with her ability to lead with influence and mentor her team. With over 20 years of experience, Sonnet has built a reputation as a strategic and creative thinker and industry leader. Prior to PMA, Sonnet was the Vice President of Design and Construction at NBC Universal where she was responsible for overseeing all design, development, construction, and related capital planning at the iconic 400+ acre lot and DreamWork’s West Coast Studio Operation. Sonnet holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Southern California.

Matthew has over 19 years of experience in the development and construction industry with a wealth of knowledge in various fields. His leadership and ability to assess and manage risk has allowed him to successfully complete logistically challenging large-scale projects in the Domestic US market and internationally. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Earth Science from Canterbury Christ Church University College in Kent, England.
 

Doug’s relationship with PMA began when he served as a healthcare designer at La Rabida Children’s Hospital and Research Center, where he witnessed the strong collaboration and enthusiasm that guides the practice of the firm every day. Doug was drawn to PMA’s people and the level of intellectual curiosity that cultivates creative solutions for the client and ultimately a successful project outcome.

Doug is a respected leader in the healthcare industry with over 40 years of experience in complex, large scale new/renovated healthcare projects, demonstrating his skills as a designer, educator and researcher. He will lend his expertise in healthcare planning, design, construction and regulatory compliance to PMA’s growing roster of healthcare clients and position the firm to serve the evolving needs of healthcare developments now and well into the future. Doug holds a Masters of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Detroit/Mercy in Detroit, Michigan. 

Mark has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry with expertise managing the entire spectrum of the development process.

His background includes involvement in the hospitality, commercial, residential, themed entertainment and education sectors. A natural leader, he  shares his skill and knowledge to provide both guidance and support to project team members. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Florida.

With over 30 years of construction and project management experience, focusing on the healthcare industry, Glenn leverages his technical background, critical thinking, and analytical skills to strategically position projects and clients for success. Glenn is the client lead for one of the largest healthcare systems in Central Florida. He has a Bachelor of Building Construction from the University of Florida in Gainesville. 

Kevin was drawn to PMA's ethic and how it influences the firm's approach to project delivery and one-team mindset. He believes that PMA's approach of cultivating open, honest, and transparent communications among staff and clients is the foundation of the firm’s ongoing success.

Kevin's background leading the design and construction of large, complex projects allows him to skillfully lead client and project teams. He manages the operations and delivery of services for higher education clients at PMA, serving as the client lead. His client's trust his expertise in planning, resource allocation, coordination processes, plans, and initiatives. With over 25 years of experience managing real estate development projects. She is the primary team lead for PMA’s key life science clients. Melissa’s background in engineering and management gives her the technical expertise to adeptly manage the myriad of details involved with complex projects while also maintaining a big picture view in order to provide strategic guidance to owners. Melissa holds a Master of Science in Engineering and Management from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.

Tom values the naturally collaborative approach that defines the PMA experience. Working with smart, conscientious, engaging team members with a wide variety of professional experiences brought him to PMA and, clients tell him, its what they value most as well. 

Tom plays a key role in the strategic growth of the office, working closely with firm leadership on all aspects of service delivery, client relations, staff mentoring and development, resource planning, and office operations. With over 30 years of experience, Tom has built a reputation for managing highly complex projects, particularly in technically savvy environments.  As the team leader for a large utility client and a multinational technology company, he applies his extensive technical and architectural design expertise to these clients’ most challenging project demands to deliver innovative efficiencies while fulfilling project goals. Tom holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio and is a California-licensed Architect.

Alice believes that clients value PMA’s ability to provide broad industry perspective, insight and critical thinking while also achieving technical and process control to successfully manage risk. 

As a results-driven professional with 40+ years of diverse real estate industry experience, Alice’s portfolio includes a broad array of project types with development and design complexity and high performance demands, including residential multi-family, transit oriented mixed-use, biotechnology research and development, commercial office, and industrial development. She brings a broad level of development expertise and strong leadership skills to her role as a senior team leader for a large, multi-family REIT client with a national portfolio. Alice holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.

Joshua valued PMA's underlying belief that collaborative relationships achieve results and our dedication to fostering those relationships. 

Joshua had over 30 years of experience managing significant healthcare, research, and university capital programs and projects in the New York metropolitan area. Josh joined PMA as Vice President & General Manager, New York, via the acquisition of LPE Management Services, to lead PMA’s new team in New York as part of a strategic expansion. He lead new business development efforts, mentorship, client relations, and overall service delivery. Prior to founding LPE in 2007, Josh was a founding member of Rand Engineering and LPE Engineering.

Steve Ruggiero has over 38 years of experience in the construction industry working for some of the largest developers in New York City. He has managed a variety of high-end projects valued at over 3.5 billion dollars including large hotels, mixed-use, complicated alterations, residential buildings, restoration of historical and landmark structures, airport and private school expansions, as well as commercial construction. Steve specializes in navigating complex projects by bringing a high level of expertise to understanding client objectives, organizing project teams and building consensus to meet the project goals. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Initially affiliated with a client of PMA, Matt values the company’s proactive approach and ability to think like an “owner.”   He also admires PMA’s commitment to its clients and the collective power of its combined industry experience.

Matt has over 25 years of transactional, development and legal experience in the real estate industry.  With a strong design and development skillset, as well as a results-driven orientation, he has a proven track record of delivering successful projects and completing complex transactions.  Matt utilizes his deep experience and ownership-focus to drive projects from design through closeout and is regarded for his ability to cultivate and maintain meaningful long-term relationships.  His portfolio includes retail, entertainment, mixed-use and residential projects.  Prior to PMA, Matt was the managing principal at a highly regarded real estate consultancy specializing in complex in-fill transactions and development projects, designing and executing corporate roll-out programs, as well as investment and development opportunity sourcing.  Matt has a Juris Doctor from Tulane Law School and a Bachelor of Art from Tulane University.  He is also an Illinois Licensed Managing Real Estate Broker. 

Jill values the firm’s commitment to fostering a collaborative culture that empowers team members at all levels. She believes PMA is set apart in the industry by its authentic focus on building relationships that are grounded in mutual respect and trust.

Jill has over 25 years of experience in professional services marketing in the real estate industry. She oversees the firm’s marketing and communications strategies and programs, develops and implements marketing procedures, collaborates on business development efforts and operational initiatives, and manages the activities of the corporate marketing team. Working with internal and external teams, she directs the development of a wide range of activities while maintaining the firm’s brand identity in areas including firm credentials, email marketing, website content, photography, proposals, presentations, internal communications, technology platforms, promotions, corporate events, public relations and social media.  Jill holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from DePaul University in Illinois.

Robert appreciates the value the firm places on employee confidence, cultivating self-assuredness and personal integrity among all staff. Passionate about the building industry, Robert brings not only experience but a contagious enthusiasm to the company.

With over 40 years of professional experience, Robert has a diverse background in residential, commercial and mixed-use development, design and construction management. Robert’s vast portfolio includes owner representation for new construction of all client types with a focus on commercial office buildings, medical facilities and hospitality. As a leader, his strong philosophy of focusing energy on being a positive team member contributes to his success as a manager of critical project groups.  Robert earned a Bachelor of Building Construction from Auburn University in Alabama.

Jeff values the firm’s commitment to fairness and integrity, and appreciates the open and honest environment that it fosters in the office and among project team members.  He believes clients value PMA’s absolute advocacy to act in their best interest at all times.

Jeff brings 20 years of experience in real estate development and owner representation to his role as a senior PMA team member.  He has managed the planning, design and construction activities for a diverse range of commercial, residential and institutional real estate and building projects and plays a key role in the delivery of the firm’s services to an expanding client base. 

As the relationship lead for a national multi-family residential developer, Jeff collaborates with the client’s internal staff and teams of design, construction, and engineering professionals throughout the development process to deliver projects that meet client goals and add value to their portfolio.  Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Advanced Technical Studies from Southern Illinois University.
