As the Investor’s Representative for Mercantile Safe Deposit and Trust, PMA oversaw the successful completion of The Shoreham Apartments, located in the new Lakeshore East neighborhood of Chicago. Upon completion of The Shoreham in November 2005, PMA was again retained by the client to represent their interests in The Tides, a similarly appointed 51-story residential tower to be constructed on the parcel just to the west of The Shoreham. Both projects are among multiple residential projects planned for the new lakefront neighborhood, but represent the only planned luxury rental developments.
The Tides, which began construction in the spring of 2006, will offer a total of 607 residential units including studios, convertibles, one and two bedroom apartments and luxury amenities. PMA provides document review, schedule management, construction administration, change management, project accounting, closeout oversight and monthly reporting for the project.
