In 2008, the International Development Equity Associates Inc. (IDEA) engaged Project Management Advisors, Inc. (PMA) to provide development management and project management services to their supportive living project in Maywood, Illinois. The current site in Maywood is an existing six story, 146,000 sq.ft., facility that will be renovated into a supportive living facility. The spaces being renovated include private and public living areas, dining rooms, bedrooms, kitchen, storage, mechanical space, site and parking renovations. The mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems are also being completely replaced.

This project will start with an extensive approval process from various governmental agencies and private entities looking to purchase tax credits as part of project funding. PMA will provide oversight throughout this process and coordinate the consultant team, including adherrance to strict design criteria which is being implemented by the Architect. In addition to Development Management, PMA will provide Project Management Services starting with the pre-construction phase. The General Contractor will review the construction documents and will propose an exact scope which will be determined through this pre-construction process between the Owner and the General Contractor. Once price and scope are determined, construction will commence.
