Beth Emet The Free Synagogue is a non-profit house of worship and religious school founded in 1950 and located in Evanston, Illinois. The project entailed the renovation of the existing 35,000 square foot facility in addition to the construction of a new 2,600 square foot addition. Work at the existing facility included introduction of a fire protection sprinkler system, accessibility improvements, service upgrades, a new roof, new windows, and several classroom and bathroom upgrades. The 2,600 square foot addition included a three-stop elevator, storage and mechanical space, new administration offices and new rabbinic offices.
