Located on the Sierra Point peninsula in Brisbane, California, this property was the site of a municipal landfill until the 1960’s. Following Project Management Advisors, Inc.’s (PMA) completion of the due diligence/conditions assessment, developer and owner HCP, Inc. (acquirer of Slough Estates USA Inc.) purchased the land and retained PMA to manage the multi-phase project. The Britannia Sierra Point project consists of five life science shell buildings totaling approximately 540,000 square feet and a five story 961 car capacity parking structure. Because the property was previously used as a landfill, the foundations will be long steel H-Piles and each building will require a methane mitigation system. Each building will have service yards to house an emergency generator, electrical equipment, trash, storage and access for deliveries.
