As owner’s representative for Gurnee Radiology Centers, Project Management Advisors, Inc. (PMA) managed the interior construction of each of the three magnetic resonance imaging facilities owned and operated in Illinois. Services included preparing the overall project schedule and budget, design management, procurement of general contractor and owner’s consultants, and oversight and management during construction.
The 10,000 square foot Gurnee facility includes an open MRI, mammogram, CT, ultrasound, x-ray rooms and supporting areas. The 1,400 square foot facility located in the Lake Park Pointe shopping center in Chicago includes an open MRI and supporting areas. The 5,400 square foot facility located in the Grand Oaks Health Center in Libertyville includes CT, R&F, and ultrasound rooms, supporting areas as well as the world’s first production model GE SIGNA OpenSpeed MRI system.
