Exelixis

Project Management Advisors, Inc. (PMA) managed the tenant improvement construction for Exelixis’ new headquarters located in South San Francisco, California.  Occupying three of the building’s four floors and totaling over 75,000 square feet,  the building houses their executive offices, board room, various conference rooms, and associated corporate functions.  In addition to managing the design and construction phases, PMA was actively involved in the network and furniture coordination process.  To support the new headquarters, PMA also coordinated the construction of a 2,450 square foot data center, which included a raised floor with dampered tiles, pre-action valve fire sprinkler system, UPS and a cooling tower and CRAC (computer room air conditioning) unit to monitor and maintain the temperature, air distribution and humidity.
