Des Plaines Metropolitan Square

The City of Des Plaines retained Project Management Advisors, Inc. (PMA) to represent their interests as the municipal redevelopment partner in a downtown redevelopment encompassing two of the city’s TIF (Tax Increment Financing) districts.

The extent of the public component of the work included a 458-car parking facility, utility and infrastructure demolition/relocation and construction, streetscape improvements, intersection improvements and traffic signalization. Our role as project manager/owner’s representative bundled the responsibility for technical oversight, coordination and reporting with the
fiduciary responsibility to safeguard and manage the city’s $5.8 million maximum contribution toward these public improvements.
