The Francis W. Parker School is an independent K-12 school founded in 1901 located in the Near North side of Chicago. After completion of a previous Science Wing renovation project for Francis W. Parker School in the Winter of 2005, Project Management Advisors was selected by Francis W. Parker School to manage the school’s 4th Floor Addition and Auditorium Renovation projects. PMA was charged with managing the complex design and construction activities associated with this project, while adhering to strict academic schedules and deadlines. Additionally, PMA helped coordinate a detailed site logistics plan that will allow the school to occupy adjacent classrooms and outdoor spaces during the 2007 and 2008 school years with minimal impact to the school’s administration, faculty and students. The project includes a complete renovation of the school’s Auditorium, including the addition of a new balcony. Additionally, the project also includes the renovation of nearly 40,000 SF of adjacent classrooms. PMA services include procurement, contract review, budgeting, scheduling, design review, construction administration and the management of numerous owner vendors.
