Space constraints caused by the growth in their athletic programs and need for competitive facilities, led California State University, Fresno Athletic Corporation to explore the feasibility of constructing a new Strength and Conditioning Center. Project Management Advisor’s (PMA) developed a procurement and implementation strategy to effectively control the project cost and meet the schedule objectives for athletic recruiting. Construction of the 10,800 square foot Strength and Conditioning Center was completed in six months at a project cost of $1.2 million, including equipment.
