When Atheros Communications Inc. decided to expand their existing headquarters, Project Management Advisors, Inc. (PMA) provided space programming analysis for the potential building options provided by their broker to facilitate their evaluation and decision process. The company ultimately leased one of the options, a 60,000 square foot building, which was within a few blocks of their existing headquarters.
PMA then managed the design and construction phases of the tenant improvements, including three new lab spaces, open office areas, and a new fitness center. In addition, PMA coordinated with the landlord, on behalf of Atheros, a variety of shell building improvements, such as landscaping, ADA upgrades, signage, and facade upgrades.
