During completion of Project Management Advisors, Inc. (PMA) initial Accretive assignment at 401 North Michigan, PMA was retained to manage the design and construction of Accretive’s new shared service center at 231 South LaSalle. This new 45,000 square foot facility is designed to accommodate roughly 230 employees. Other functionalities in the new facility include extensive training and presentation space, multiple conference room and “break-out areas” with an efficient floor plan designed to carry over their operational standards from other facilities.
PMA oversaw a very aggressive 40 day design and permitting process followed by an 11 week construction phase, while concurrently managing labor strike issues, vendor coordination (furniture, tele/data, security, movers, etc.), project accounting, cost controls, TIF funding and LEED administration throughout the project’s duration.
