PMA Selected for La Rabida Children’s Hospital Wing Renovation
July 18, 2008, PMA was selected for Project Management services for La Rabida Children’s Hospital, Chicago, Illinois. La Rabida Children’s Hospital is a private, nonprofit health care organization affiliated with the University of Chicago Medical Center, providing the most extensive hospital-based program for neglected and abused children in Illinois. La Rabida also provides comprehensive care for children who have lifelong medical conditions and disabilities. The project scope will include a complete phased interior renovation of a 12,000 square foot wing of the hospital, including 12 inpatient rooms, corridors and play areas.
PMA competed against one other local firm that had deep hospital experience. PMA was able to outweigh this concern with our ability to be highly responsive and clear during the prolonged selection process. This reassured La Rabida that PMA understood all the issues that this project will entail, when we added Rolf Jensen Associates, a health care specialist to our team.
PMA has entered a new market sector with exciting new opportunities ahead of us.
