PMA is pleased to announce the recent completion of services for the West City Continuing Education Campus. The $18 Million West City Campus represents the newest addition for the San Diego Community College District. The project entailed demolition of existing 70+ year old facilities and construction of a new 38,930 sq.ft. two-story facility plus surrounding landscape and hardscape elements. The new state-of-the-art facility, designed and built to obtain LEED Silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, houses multi-purpose and specialized classrooms and administrative support space for a variety of continuing education classes, including culinary arts and industrial design.
PMA managed the project construction on behalf of the SDCCD and assisted the project team, including RJC Architects and Soltek Pacific, through the complex process of development, design and LEED certification.
