PMA Part of Development Team Selected for Transbay Blocks 6 & 7, San Francisco

PMA is pleased to announce the selection, through a competitive process, of the Golub/Mercy team by the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency for a multi-housing development project to be built on Blocks 6 & 7 in the Transbay district. Led by Chicago-based Golub & Co. as the Master Developer, and Mercy Housing California as the Affordable Housing Developer, the development team includes Project Management Advisors as the Construction Project Manager and Solomon Cordwell Buenz as the Master Architect. The Mercy/Golub development plan, designed to revitalize the community and serve as a link for the Transbay district and Rincon Hill, provides for more than 550 market-rate and affordable housing units with amenities, shopping and restaurants at street level, and sustainable design features. The $30 million that Golub will pay for the market-rate site will help fund the $4.2 billion Transbay Terminal project, already underway. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2013.
